Grape seed extract is a natural and powerful antioxidant. The Grapeseed Extract found in Phytamins is a concentration of the pure beneficial oligomeric proanthocyanidins found in grape seeds and skins. Grapeseed Extract has been recognized as one of the most powerful antioxidants, containing powerful, natural, free radical scavengers and bioflavonoid complexes that are rapidly absorbed and distributed throughout the body. As such, it provides anti-oxidant activity and plays a role in the stabilization of collagen and maintenance of elastin. These two critical proteins in connective tissue support organs, joints, blood vessels, and muscle.* Grapeseed Extract has also been shown in research trials to help promote healthy cholesterol levels and promote a healthy cardiovascular system*. The Grapeseed Extract found in Essential Phytamins is naturally extracted to ensure it is free of solvents.

Lutein and Zeaxanthin are two antioxidants in the carotenoid family. They are primary carotenoids present in the central area of the back of the eye called the macula. The macula is responsible for fine vision.
